As Advertised

Did some research prior to purchasing and found Amazon had the best price. My original order was defective and I had to request a return. Amazon had a new printer to me within 5 days and the return of the defective printer was painless. This printer is an upgrade to a previous Brother MFC and so far it has run flawless and all the functions work well. I would recommend this printer to anyone looking for an all in one printer with a reliable reputation and quality functions.

Good buty not the right fit

The printer itself is Ok, but when printing envelopes the adhesive gets hot and partially seals the envelope. The envelopes feed much slower than when printing a sheet which probably exaserbates the problem.
Another issue that I have is that you can not disable the fax or change the ring number higher than 4.

works great and price is right

It does what it's supposed to do so if you only need black printing this is a great little workhorse. Also if you're inclined to refill your own toner drum as I am, this one is easy to do and so much cheaper than buying a new toner.... like ten bucks vs. maybe $50 or so, not sure of price of new drum. Instructions and parts available online and easy.
