Love Ricoh

Like the reviewer previous, I use one of my Ricoh printers for specialty inks. Unlike the Epson printers I have had in the past, I have had absolutely no issues with print head clogging. The gel inks are awesome. I purchased this Ricoh to do my "regular" printing and have never had one issue although I have had to leave it unattended for several weeks at a time. I bought this same unit for home. It is not wireless and the only wish I have is that I had purchased a WiFi unit for home. I did not try to hook mine up to a network so can not comment on that review of connections but the USB connecting was simple. You will never regret a printer that uses gel inks. After a week or two of non-use, I might have to run the maintenance head clean once or twice, that's it.

Received a non-functional printer...

I was so excited to receive this printer only to have it NOT WORK. The inoperable status of this printer not only placed my business into a hard spot. Mayne this was just one of the printers that was the runt of the litter, but in the end I have to now figure out a solution to get past this fiasco...

Don't buy this printer

I purchased this printer on recommendation for specialty printing.
I have been a Network Administrator for over 20 years and have never had a network enabled printer this difficult to set up. You need to read the manual on-line while trying to set up the network. I finally resorted to USB connection!
All liquid ink printers must be charged before use this usually uses five to twenty percent (5% ~ 20%) of the starter cartridges, this is understandable. With that said, this printer it took eighty percent (80%) of the special jeljet cartridges (Sawgrass) that I purchased for this printer, a cost of nearly $200.00.
If you do not need to purchase this printer I would recommend that you look elsewhere for a better tool for your job, stear this one a wide birth.
