Excellent color printer

My past experience with Ricoh Aficio color lazer printers was great. I notice the newer ones are quieter and somewhat lighter. THe toner cartridges do not produce as many copies but that is the current way of making money and it applies to all products you buy. THe price is higher and the output is less. Same with all printer mfgs. Ricoh Aficio does seem to give more for the money with good quality. Use the PS driver for maximum quality. In many cases, nearly Photo quality. I still have my CL 3000 from year 2000 and it still works great. No need to get a maintenance contract. You can replace whatever you need by pulling out the old and replacing with a new one. Either the machine will tell you what needs to be replaced or customer support will help by e-mail. That has been my experience with the year 2000 model. I hope this newer model last as long as the previous model has lasted.One is at home and one is at my office.
