DPU-414

Love it. We started with the DPU-411 in 1994, and moved up to the DPU414 in 1998. We still have 2 of the 411 in use. They are set for 80 characters and one stays with each machine to print our data. The setup is very easy and takes less than 2 minutes. One is serial and the rest are used as parallel. It's thermal so it fades over time but we can keep the printouts for 7 years. We recommend this printer to all our customers.

Great printer but wrong Model.

My system requires a Model 30 and this one is a Model 40, which has a different voltage requirement. Therefore it is not compatible. I acquired a Model 30 from another supplier with satisfactory results.
All the service personnel I dealt with were very cordial and helpful. The return was simple and our credit card refund has already been applied.
Thanks for your help and I look forward to using Amazon in the future.
