4My first brother printer
By Mark Scott
I've had a variety of ink-jet printers over the years... ranging from Epson to Cannon and the last one was a Kodak. So far, I really like this printer. Seems to be really well made, and I like the easy access to the ink cartridges for changing (which, I hope to not do too often).

1Burned twice on faulty product
By ZEL
Quick review here: ordered the product twice, first device stopped powering on, second device had a faulty lcd touchscreen, so I was unable to see any of the options. Printing quality was good, but if you choose to go this route, waranty up.

4Great product, great cost, EXCELLENT ink savings
By Amymno4
We had finally had had it with our HP All-in-One, and because Brother is the industry standard (with much cheaper ink costs), I decided it was time to switch. I needed something to scan, copy, print, so this did an excellent job. The prints and copies look very good, setup, including wifi on two computers, is very easy (I use Macs), and the cost difference in ink cartridges is huge (I think less than $70 for high-yield for CMY and Black). This unit does duplex, though that's only for in, so if you need to do both sides of a sheet, you need to turn the paper in between each. This is a bit of downgrade from my HP, but I don't do large print/scan jobs, so it's not a major issue, and for the price savings in both purchase and ink, it's truly worth it. The menus are extremely easy to understand and use, and while there isn't a button for everything, as on my HP, the touchscreen works well, with very few pages to get to what you want to do. I would give this five starts, except that it doesn't have a document load for larger jobs. If it included that, it would ridiculous how good this thing is. Speaking to other school parents in the market for printers, we told them to go with Brother, and after we got this one and tested it out, we encourage them to go with this model because now we can actually afford to print out all of those school papers and reports and projects, B&W and color, without getting a small loan to do it.
